Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about working with you during this year 2010-2011. This is going to be a new, exciting and fun year, because we are going to be working with new things. The main goal of the course is to make the students love English and see it as an important tool to success. Over the course of this year, we will review skills they had already learned and introduce some new topics.
Additional information about the class is provided in the class syllabus and in the class blog. Please read the syllabus in order to understand and support the classroom system. The syllabus may change during the school year in order to fulfill the student’s needs. Your child and you can access the class blog at:english-jreyes.blogspot.com. The students have to access the blog regularly to get new information and updates about the class.
Also know that if you ever have any comments, questions or concerns, I’m available to speak with you in order to help the student. To arrange a meeting you can contact the Academy by talking with the receptionist and they will schedule one for you.
I am excited about working with every single one of you. I welcome questions or comments, and I am looking forward to a great year!

Classroom Rules
Classroom rules
To make this year even better than it is going to be, we need to follow certain rules to make the classroom's enviroment more enjoyable.
1. In the English Classroom we always speak: "ENGLISH".
2. We walk in our classroom.
3. We talk in a moderate tone of voice.
4. We listen to each other.
5. Is always better if we wait our turn.
6. Maintain your shirt tucked in, you will look nicer ;).
7. We start the class on time, so be punctual.
You won't want to miss anything!
8. Always be prepare with all of your materials: books, notebooks, pencils, erasers, etc.1
9. We will enjoy it more if we do all of our assignments on time.
10. Follow all of the rules shown in the student's manual.
I know that we are going to enjoy this new year!
